Making a Field Required

1. Add a YooForms Block
   • Open the post or page where you want to add the form in the WordPress block editor.
   • Click on the “+” button to add a new block.
   • Search for “YooForms” and select the form block that suits your needs, such as a contact form or newsletter sign-up form.
2. Select the field
   • Click on the form block to select it.
   • Click on the specific field you want to make required (e.g., Name, Email, Message).
3. Enable required field
   • On the right-hand side, in the block settings panel, find the Required option.
   • Toggle the switch to enable the required field.

Editing Error Messages

1. Access Error Message Settings
   • Once you have enabled the required field, an input box will appear in the block settings under the Required option.
2. Customize the Error Message
   • Enter your custom error message in the input box. This message will be displayed when users attempt to submit the form without filling in the required field.
3. Save and Publish
   • After customizing the error message, make sure to save your changes.
   • Publish or update the post/page to make the form live.

Example

Default Message: “This field is required.”
